Case StudiesOur work defines who we are. These case studies are a just a few examples of the solutions we have provided our customers over the years. With clients in all business sectors, SystemNet understands the importance of listening carefully to their requirements allowing us to provide innovative solutions that exceed their expectations.
ALLSPACEEstablished in 1994, Allspace Ltd. has grown to become Ireland’s largest supplier for the hire of portable buildings and the sale of modular and re-locatable buildings to the construction, business, leisure and public sectors. Their state-of-the-art headquarters in north Dublin features a display centre showcasing their products, as well as spacious refurbishment facilities. When they moved into this new facility in 2004 they needed a cost effective, reliable, high quality voice solution that would deliver easy to use, efficient communications in every corner of the large site. As a rapidly growing company, they also needed a solution which would meet their needs then and into the future. Following consultation meetings, SystemNet installed a Panasonic KX-TDA telephone system. The overall solution included the installation of a network of DECT Cell Stations across the site, which effectively created a wireless network supporting a number of Panasonic DECT handsets. These wireless handsets are used by transport managers and other key staff members allowing them to communicate easily from anywhere on the site.
E. Fox Engineers Ltd.E. Fox Engineers Ltd. have been in business for over 65 years, supplying bearing, transmission, lubrication and related products to all areas of industry from the Heavy Construction & Automotive to the Micro Electronic and Petrochemical Industries. When the company moved to a custom built warehouse in Baldonnell Business Park Dublin in 2001, they had a clear vision of what they wanted when it came to their voice and data infrastructure. They instructed SystemNet to install a Structured Cabling system and PABX voice solution which would meet their needs then and into the future. SystemNet installed a Category 5e structured cabling system, serving each workstation (desk) with three modular outlets. All cables terminated onto patch panels, tested and rack mounted in a free-standing Comms cabinet. This user friendly patching system allows their ICT dept. move devices (PCs, phones, etc.) around the network easily without tools and without having to call out a technician. SystemNet also installed a Digital Panasonic telephone system, allowing them to utilise the full range of digital ISDN services available from eircom. Recently when E. Fox Engineers Ltd. opened a new branch in Cork, SystemNet installed a Digital Panasonic telephone system in the new branch. Their ICT dept. setup a Virtual Private Network (VPN) between the two sites and SystemNet was able to install four VoIP channels between the two systems. This enables users to make desk to desk calls between the sites with no call charges. (There can be up to four simultaneous calls between the sites at any time.)
Financial Services OmbudsmanThe Financial Services Ombudsman's Bureau are a statutory body set up under the terms of the Central Bank and Financial Services Authority of Ireland Act 2004 (Section 16 and schedules 6 and 7). The Financial Services Ombudsman is a statutory officer who deals independently with unresolved complaints from consumers about their individual dealings with all financial service providers. Through consultation meetings with SystemNet, they outlined their requirements for a high quality, reliable, easy to use voice solution. The solution had to meet all the demands of a busy modern office environment and put them to the forefront of business communications technology. SystemNet installed a Panasonic KX-TDA telephone system and Panasonic KX-TVM voicemail system. These systems are seamlessly integrated to provide a feature rich communications platform, meeting their requirements then and ready for the future as their applications grow and change. SystemNet keeps up with the Bureau's fast changing office by utilising the Remote Access feature of the system, allowing us make programming changes without having to call out to site.
